    • he is often referred to be the sun while his sister is referred to being the moon

    • he is the brother of Zeus
    • the king of the sea and waters
  • Aphrodite is the goddess of love, sexuality, beauty, and desire
    • she had many lovers including Ares (the god of war), Adonis (the demi-god of desire), and Anchises (a mortal who fathered a baby)
  • Demeter is the goddess of grain, harvest, and agriculture
    • she is the sister of Zeus
